Visited Phuket this pass December and experienced the most delightful stay at a 20 hotel tucked away in the hills of Kata Beach. The Hotel is called C.C. Bloom's and I must admit that the staff was fabulous. Very gay friendly.. Though it was a 20 minute drive to Patong, I was able to leave all that noise behind once I played and return to a quiet surrounding. Wonderful, wonderful.... Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket, Thailand...
