Known for its panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and lush tropical Gardens -- truly one of the most unique
homes on the Garden Isle of Kauai. Gay Kapaa located halfway between the tropical and rugged Na Pali Coast and
the hot, dry Waimea west side, over looks Kapaa Bay the first bay on the North Shore of Kauai.
Kapaa Bay is known as the sunniest bay on the north shore, with reef perfected beaches allowing year round
swimming and snorkeling.
The pool area is private and inviting the water turquoise blue, protected by a bamboo fence - a
wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The main villa itself was the first gay-owned and gay-run B&B on
Kauai, and is a wonderfully rambling structure with rooms around every corner.
The entry room has a koi pond sunken into to floor. The house has a very open feeling to it, with several
rooms opening to a wonderful ocean view. The dining room has a distinctly japanese feel to it, with shoji
panels along the back wall. You'll appreciate the Polynesian touches throughout the property.
Kai Room Enjoy sweeping views of the ocean, pool, and gardens from the comforts of the Kai (ocean) room. The
Kai room along with the Hibiscus suite has one of the best views from the house. Amenities include private
bath and full bed. You will sleep deeply while hearing the soft sounds of the surf and the cool tropical
breezes. Garden Room Awaken to the sounds of tropical birds from the garden outside your room. Enjoy cocktails
or morning coffee on the private garden lanai that awaits you outside the large bedroom and oversized bath.
