over 40 miles of trails in Portland’s Forest Park, the
largest urban park in the US. Portland International
Guesthouse is just a few minutes' walk from the Portland
Streetcar and the MAX lightrail. We are in the middle of it
all! We are five blocks to the streetcar, six blocks to the
lightrail with direct access to Portland International
Airport, and one block to several major bus lines. In
addition, we are a 7-minute bus ride to Union Station
(Amtrak). |

Clyde Hotel Downtown Portland
Welcome to the newly renovated clyde hotel, in the heart of downtown
portland, oregon. built in 1912, the clyde is one of the few
historic hotels in downtown portland which retains its original
layout & use as a hotel. the lobby has been restored to the original
design, featuring beautiful mahogany panels, swing alcove doors,
inlaid tiling & an overlooking mezzanine. guest rooms have original
doors and woodwork, victorian clawfoot tubs and showers, and
original tile. offering turn of the century charm, friendly service,
a great location & an excellent value. all rooms at the clyde hotel
have high ceilings, mahogany doors, spacious closets, & lots of
room. the hotel was recently renovated, & is listed in the national
registry of historic places. when you stay at the clyde, you go back
in time from the moment you walk into the grand lobby. explore
portland's thriving downtown on foot, from powell's bookstore to
pioneer square, all just down the block from this historic treasure!
